Our Department of Paediatrics  & Neonatology is one of the well known tertiary care units in south India.  We have a vital role in Smile Train Project by screening all Cleft Lip and Palate persons.  We assess all cleft lip and palate children for their nutritional status, and give advice on them. De worming is also performed on children before surgery.

We treat the children who are suffering from the Respiratory tract infections due to frequent aspirations in cleft and palate children before surgery. Follow up is conducted for all children and also adolescents.
